SO WHAT ARE WE REANIMATING AGAIN?

I'm planning to host a reanimation of the opening to Kare Kano: His and Her Circumstances! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Hym2-PDJ9A

The purpose of this collab is to warm myself up to host a bigger reanimated collab. There is 17 parts each with part 12 and 17 being the most complex in terms of animation, but some might ask...

WHAT THE HELL IS KARE KANO ANYWAY?

Kare Kano is a shojo romcom anime based on the manga with the same name and was produced by Gainax (and J.C Staff) and was directed by Hideaki Anno (yes THAT Hideaki Anno) before "leaving the project" It ran for 26 episodes before ending abruptly. GUIDELINES AND HOW TO APPLY:

You may use any animation software you please but NO AI! If you're caught using AI, you WILL lose your part, so just don't do it. It's okay if you're a beginner animator/artist or expert one, just make sure to put effort in to your scene. It's okay to add some of your own flair to your scene but try to resemble it from the original.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:

Stage Size: 1440x1080

FPS: 12 frames per second OR HIGHER

File Format: MP4 and MOV

HOW TO APPLY:

You can PM here on Newgrounds with links to your work/portfolio and I will answer in 3 days, If you're accepted, I will send you a link to the discord server we will be working on.

Another way to apply is to PM me from my username on discord "polyredstuff" From there, you can show your examples. P.S. You will have to provide your Newgrounds username so I can invite you once the collab is finished.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR SCENE:

After you're done with your scene, send it with a google drive link (or any other service) to the #finished submissions channel in the discord.

Finished scene file name example:

There's a google drive folder containing all of the parts and a sheet documenting of the progress, this will be in the discord once you join. And one last thing...

WILL THIS COLLAB ON YOUTUBE AS WELL?

Short answer: Nah. I feel like for short collabs like this, I think it would make sense to just post this here on Newgrounds.

Hey guys, it’s kinda been a while since my last post but, I just want to say thank for 50 followers! I know 50 isn’t a lot to some people but it’s crazy to think that 50 people followed to see a person that makes random stuff for the internet to see, so it means a lot to me and it makes me make stuff for you guys… (sorry if that sounded so corny), but still thank you so much… :] So, about the inactivity, I’m trying to post more often like art, music, and especially movies, but I’m planning an fanmade AMV (Animated Music Video) that I hope to release this by the end of the year by the latest, and by the way, it has to do something with either Ice Cube and Bracelety or with Bubble, all characters from Battle For Dream Island, so yeah! I think that it’s it… :]

Yes, you heard me right! I made my debut EP called Tunes To Keep You Safe At Night. It’s a small “indie” EP where a character named “Blobo” falls into the void during the night. Fortunately, they have some tunes to keep them safe from the night…

PURPOSE OF THIS ALBUM/EP

• The purpose of this EP was to experiment with the different styles, techniques, and instruments in the application, BeepBox…

BUT WHY??????

• When I was making my first audio file on Newgrounds, “Hateful!”. I realized that just mixing audio loops isn’t the most ideal way to make music. In fact, while I was submitting “Hateful!” I got a copyright infringement notice from P-Bot, fortunately M-Bot lifted the notice so now I’m learning music theory and to use BeepBox!

CONCLUSION…

• So now after 2-3 weeks, You can listen to my debut EP… Tunes To Keep You Safe At Night on here, Newgrounds , or here on Bandcamp (still working on draft)… So yeah! Bye!
